Having succeeded year after year with the Beatles Marathon, the core group of musicians are expanding their repertoire and tackling a classic album a month in a live performance.
This weekend, The Liner Notes – Nate Rothacker (vocals), Joe Peppercorn (keys, vocals), Rob Bradley (guitar), Drew Stedman (guitar), Chris Bolognese (bass) and Jesse Cooper (drums) – performed David Bowie’s seminal Ziggy Stardust album in it’s entirety.
YouTube user AROTRBeatlesByCarney shot The Liner Notes performing the title track from that album at The Tree Bar.
Next up for The Liner Notes is a March 28th performance at Rumba Cafe of Neil Young’s After the Gold Rush.

Thanks for finding and posting my video! If anyone’s interested, I posted the whole Liner Notes show of David Bowie, and put it all in a playlist. I also plan to do the Neil Young show. I also just put up a Van Haken (Van Halen tribute) video from 3-21 at Spacebar, and will put up some more from that show. This is my latest hobby, and I also have up some stuff from the latest Beatles Marathon and from The Saturday Giant at Rumba in November 2014 and from Independents’ Day 2014. And some Vis-a-Vis and FACE from November. Enjoy some great local music!
