The 2024 Nelsonville Music Festival is coming up July 26th -July 28th. The festival is put together by the historic Stuart’s Opera House. I’ve been attending this festival since 2015 and this is definitely tops on my list for music festivals in the Central Ohio Region. This will be the third year at the new location at the Snow Fork event center. Located at the foot hills of the Hocking Hills area, the setting is beautiful, the grounds are well kept and the line up is stronger and growing more diverse each year.
This year’s line up is no exception! The headliners include Killer Mike (from Run the Jewels), Courtney Barnett, Thee Sacred Souls, Indigo De Souza, and Amyl and the Sniffers. The festival consists of three stages – the main Snow Fork stage, the Porch Stage, and the Creekside Stage. The three stages all have a different vibe and feel that adds to the diversity of the festival. One of my favorite sights is the sea of hammocks aligning the wooded Creekside Stage (I’m bringing one myself this year!).
