Go see Lincoln Durham this Sunday night at the Rumba Cafe. It’s really that simple. He’s a one-man band playing raw, ferocious, dark songs of love, loss, and redemption on hand-me-down instruments. Lincoln sounds like a Southern Gothic Preacher driving a car with a skull on the shifter, dice on the mirror and duct tape holding the whole thing together. And he’s doing 90 on the freeway with Jack White tied up in the trunk. And the car’s on fire. It’s a glorious sound.
Check out Lincoln Durham at the Rumba Cafe on Sunday night. It’ll be worth the ride. Doors at 7pm, $12 cover.
